Job Description:
A company is looking for a Coding Associate II responsible for
obstetric coding and reviewing clinical documentation.
Key Responsibilities
Assign codes for diagnoses, treatments, and procedures using
ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS classification systems
Review and validate physician-assigned diagnosis codes and abstract
information from medical records
Ensure compliance with coding guidelines and standards while
meeting accuracy and productivity standards
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
CCS-P, CPC, or COC certification
2 years of experience in profee coding obstetric care, including
deliveries and E&M Leveling
